A quick search of “Sales Deck” will give you Zuora’s deck, a company that sells a SaaS platform for subscription billing, as the top result. This comes as no surprise since Andy Raskin, a messaging and positioning expert responsible for crafting some of the most successful sales, marketing and investor pitches in Silicon Valley called this particular template The Greatest Sales Deck.

A perfect sales pitch or even a perfect sales technique is very, if not impossible, to find but by studying the approaches of top sales professionals and adding their ultra-effective techniques to your own deck the perfect deck is closer than ever.

That is why we chose the Sales pitch methodology deck, described by the author Siamac Rezaiezadeh,  as the sales pitch methodology he has used, time and time again with amazing results. Again, we took the original guide and redesigned it on Slidebean:

  1. Begin with the big picture or big idea.
  2. Position yourself and your connection to the big picture.
  3. Define the problem.
  4. Introduce the idea that others are trying to solve this problem also.
  5. Now solve the problem yourself and introduce your value proposition.
  6. Offer social and technical proof points.
  7. Talk about your solution in human terms.
  8. Offer a reason why now is the right time to buy.
  9. Touch on your team.
  10. Withdraw from your pitch and ask the room to qualify themselves back to you.
